Projects are paired with a research engineer and a clinical mentor. Methods are held to standard machine learning peer review, and the clinical framing is reviewed by a practitioner who would use the result. The output, whether a paper, a poster, or a prototype, is shaped by both.

Industry & Academic Partners
Partner with us on joint research projects. We collaborate with academic institutions, healthcare systems, and industry partners to advance health AI.
We are open to graduate students with an interest in Health AI, machine learning, neuroscience, physiology and pathophysiology of the autonomic nervous system. The appointment will be through one of the following programs at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell:
